Culhane Meadows Further Strengthens IP Group with Three New Partners

Culhane Meadows PLLC, the largest national woman-owned (WBE) law firm in the country, has added to their deep intellectual property practice with the addition of three new IP partners who join the firm in lateral moves.

“Culhane Meadows is delighted to welcome Rose Keagy, Aasheesh Shravah and Christopher Turk to our already strong intellectual property practice, adding to the deep field of knowledge we can offer clients and reflecting the continued importance of intellectual property in every industry,” says Co-Founder and Co-Managing partner Kelly Rittenberry Culhane.

“I am excited to join Culhane Meadows, a firm that is committed to diversity in the legal market,” says Aasheesh Shravah,  “I look forward to working with my new colleagues in growing the large national IP practice.  Having attorneys with different technical backgrounds and such a collaborative culture will enhance the level of assistance I provide to my clients.”  Chris Turk added, “I am thrilled to join Culhane Meadows’ Philadelphia office and what is already a deep bench of IP practitioners. The firm’s approach of providing top-notch legal services to clients of all sizes through cloud-based solutions is something that thrilled my clients.”

“I chose Culhane Meadows because their business model is a great fit for my practice and allows me to obtain high-quality, enforceable patents in a cost-effective manner for my clients” Rose Keagy says.  A registered patent attorney, she has worked on a broad range of technologies for clients in a variety of industries—including semiconductors, volatile and non-volatile memories, industrial electronics, and power electronics, among many other innovations.  She also advises clients on their global patent portfolios, provides IP counseling and training, furnishes patent licensing support, assists IP litigation, and devises overall strategies for clients’ intellectual property holdings. Rose has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University and will join the firm’s Dallas (primary) and Washington D.C. offices.

Veteran patent and IP attorney Aasheesh Shravah’s practice includes patent and trademark litigation, domestic and international patent and trademark prosecution, and product clearance.  He represents many companies in the consumer products and hardware industries, including working with clients and factories from the early stages to develop their products and avoid IP infringement.  He has extensive litigation experience in federal district courts in patent and trademark litigation.  Aasheesh has an engineering background and is admitted before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and will be practicing in the firm’s New York office.

A former Trademark Examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, Christopher Turk’s extensive intellectual property practice includes acquisition, registration, and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights, domain names, trade secrets and other non-patented assets. He has significant experience developing global IP and brand protection strategies, including enforcing and defending claims before the U.S. Trademark Office. He also advises on false advertising and trade secret matters.  He joins the Philadelphia office.

“We continue to be humbled by how many talented attorneys are drawn to Culhane Meadows’ innovative and collaborative approach to the delivery of legal services,” says Grant Walsh, Co-Founder and National Hiring Partner. He added, “As the business market becomes ever more international, we’re especially pleased to provide our clients with the global IP knowledge Rose, Aasheesh and Chris have gained through their work with multinational corporations.”
